General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three and a half year full-time diploma programme offered by Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh, Raipur and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

  • Both male and female candidates are eligible.
  • 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board in any stream, preferably with Science  45% 
  • SC/ST Candidates (10+2)  40%
  • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age . The upper limit is 35 years.
  • Candidates shall have passed 12th (10+2) or equivalent preferably with a science subject.
  • Candidates should be medically fit and interested in the nursing profession.
  • Medium of Instruction: English / Hindi.
