Admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses are open for the first academic year of 2023-24 through the KCG College Of Technology admissions portal on the official website.

KCG College of Technology Chennai, widely known as KCGCT Chennai was established in 1998 as a Christian minority institution. KCGCT courses consist of 21 programmes which are provided at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in the disciplines of Engineering & Architecture are all approved by All India Council for Technical education (AICTE). KCGCT fees structure for UG and PG courses ranges from Rs 1,00,000 to Rs 2,20,000 in total. KCGCT admissions to UG programmes are done through TNEA exam, and for PG programmes the institute accepts a valid GATE score card or TANCET score card. As for KCGCT admissions to doctoral programmes a written test is conducted followed by an interview. According to the data, about 255 students were placed in the KCGCT placements drives 2023 with Rs 7,20,000 per annum being the KCGCT highest salary package offered.
