Khair Kanya Mahavidhyalaya, Aligarh, affiliated to the M.J.P. Rohtak University, was established in 2003 in the state of up India. Located in the Khair Tehsil of the Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh, this college came into existence about twenty years ago. The institute is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which ensures quality assurance in the domain of teacher education courses. Stretched over a large area of 93 acres, the college provides the right ambience for learning and development. This year, it took a total of 614 students and has a teaching staff of 22, thus giving the institute a good student-teacher ratio, which has the added advantage of providing individual care and counselling. 

Khair Kanya Mahavidyalaya is affiliated with Dr BR Ambedkar University, Agra, as per several sources, though some mixed details mention other associations.  Khair Kanya Mahavidhyalaya boasts of the availability of a variety of amenities that are intended to improve the learning environment for students. The library with books, journals and encyclopedias is voluminous, comprising 4,771 books, 32 journals and 95 encyclopedias. A store of knowledge for learners. To the door of the girl students from such a far-off place, the college offers a comfortably built girls’ hostel with all safety and comfort aspects well assured. This may benefit the sporting lovers to also be engaged in some of the college sporting activities in order to balance the books and bodily exercises. The institution also has well-equipped practical for practical skills, a health centre with facilities for first aid, first aid and modern information technology to meet technological innovations. 

The Khair Kanya Mahavidhyalaya has flexible full courses of study in many fields of discipline. Today, the institute offers four programmes to meet various academic focuses and career goals. 

At Khair Kanya Mahavidhyalaya, the admission criteria differ from one course to the other. The B.Ed programme offers admission based on the score obtained in the prior qualifying examination and/or entrance test.
