General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma program offered by the Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

  • The minimum and maximum age for admission shall be 17 and 35 years respectively.
  • Minimum education :
    1. 10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with an aggregate of 50% marks.
    2. Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM courses (revised after 2001) from the school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
  • Students shall be medically fit.

Admission Details

The admission selection of candidates shall be made on merit, based on marks obtained by them in 10+2.
