Kishtwar Campus, University of Jammu, Kishtwar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The University has Computing facilities for the students including 3 labs with almost All computers connected to the centralized servers with Wi-Fi Internet. There are Two Computing Labs For the Geology Department and One for the M.Sc IT Department. Every workplace on the campus, including faculty rooms, offices, computer labs, library, and administrative offices, has network connectivity.

The University library includes a large number of books and national and international periodicals in addition to the project reports. The center aims to facilitate the production & dissemination of knowledge, information, insights & intellectual contributions in all areas of education among the academic and business community. The library resource center is fully automated and for this, we have specialized user-friendly library software. The center has adopted the latest information technologies like CD, DVD, Multimedia Kits, Text, and Graphic Scanners. The user community has access to the entire collection through CD, DVD, and Hard Disk.

The University is a Guest house to provide accommodation to the Guests from the main campus including the Guest faculty for the courses run by the campus. It not only provides accommodation to the visiting faculty and examiners of the Kishtwar Campus but also the Guests of various Faculty members and students at very nominal charges.

The University has also provided the Playground facility to the students for Outdoor Games. There is a volleyball court for The students of the Campus to Enhance their physical activities.

The University has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The University has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The University has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

 The University has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.

The University has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
