KJ Institute of Ayurveda and Research was established in the year 2017. It is affiliated and located in Vadodara, state of Gujarat. This co-educational institute is CCIM approved and specially for only Ayurvedic Education. Spread over 5 acres, the institute offers only one degree course in BAMS. With an enrolment of 269 students and a faculty population of 30, the KJ Institute of Ayurveda and Research offers an ideal setting for students to learn and achieve professional levels in Ayurveda.

The institute is fully equipped with various facilities to support students in their educational and professional development. The library is well-stocked, comprising volumes exceeding 8500 on the various topics of Ayurveda, Engineering, and Technology. Currently, KJ Institute of Ayurveda and Research, an affiliated College of Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, offers only one full-time course: its Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program. This comprehensive six-year degree course. The BAMS program is purposed to deepen the concepts of Ayurveda among the students so as to enable them to pursue their careers with regard to practice in Ayurveda medicine.

The admission process at KJ Institute of Ayurveda and Research is primarily based on the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The institute's principal acceptance for BAMS courses is NEET.
