About Kothari College of Management Science and Technology, Indore
Kothari College of Management Science and Technology, Indore with start of the academic year 1998 is an affiliated college situated in the central part of the state of Madhya Pradesh. This institution has prepared and will continue preparing students for the future students of their choice for more than twenty years, teaching a huge amount of courses for different disciplines. The college occupies an area of 0. 45913 hectare with a compact campus and serves 2050 students enrolled in the institution. The institute has 14 dedicated faculty members effectively contributing to education, hence the concept of getting a personal touch. Kothari college has 12 programmes in nine degrees, with emphasis on management, computer application, Social work and Journalism.
With regards the learners’ educational needs, the college is determined to give its students the best facilities they can offer in this rapidly advancing technological field. Lit become the hub of knowledge, being equipped with large stock of textbooks, journals, IT publications and magazines for the students according to the demands of the courses. With a view to the development of information technology, every building of the University has Wi-Fi, giving students 24/7 unrestricted access to the internet for research purposes. Kothari College of Management Science and Technology also has well equipped laboratories for practicals, canteen service to supplement the several sweat, and a health facility with first aid. To the technology aficionados the computer/hardware corner is stocked with the range of Intel/Pentium series computers, scanners and printers, high end operated enabled software that represent the technologies as in the real world.
It is indeed a great idea to have a multitude of programmes to suit the choice of the entrants; thus, Kothari College of Management Science and Technology has developed an impressive list of programmes. The field of study of the institute encompasses 12 courses all of which are full time courses. These are BCA, BBA, B. Com, B. Sc in computer science and information technology, BSW, and BA at the undergraduate level, and MSW and PGDCA at post graduate level. The college also has degree programmes such as B.Com Computer Applications and Taxation and a Bachelor of Journalism (BJ).
