KR College of Education, Dindigul Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

KR College of Education, Dindigul, is one of the premier institutions in the state of Tamil Nadu for training future teachers. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers a Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) course with a specialisation in Teacher Training. 

KR College of Education admission is merit-based. The merit is determined on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, if any. Thus, the most qualified and competent students are selected for admission to the B. Ed. course. The intake capacity of KR College of Education is 116, with 100 seats approved for admission to the B. Ed. course per academic year. Candidates applying for the B.Ed course usually need to possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university. 

The candidates applying for the B.Ed course at KR College of Education, Dindigul, have to follow the following process:

• Notification of Admissions: The college announces the commencement of the admission process through print and electronic media and its website.
• Application Form The candidates need to get the application form and fill it out. It may be downloaded from the college website or collected from the college admission office.
• Application Fee: The candidates may have to pay the application fee. They should check the mode of payment and fee amount from the college.
• Merit List The college prepares the merit list on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or entrance exam, as per the guidelines issued by the state government and the university.

Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) is the flagship programme of KR College of Education, Dindigul. It is a two-year full-time course. It prepares the students to take up teaching professions in various educational institutions. The KR College of Education admission into the B.Ed programme is merit-based, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or any relevant entrance examination as per the policy of the state government and the affiliated university. The college has an approved intake of 100 students for this programme.
