Krishnasamy Institute of Post Graduate Studies in Cuddalore was established. It is recognized by engineering granting organization, AICTE. Located at Kumarapuram in Nellikuppam Main Road, the college is a co-education system that gives a quality technical education at the postgraduate level. Admission into Krishnasamy Institute of Post Graduate Studies is relatively straightforward then, with merit given utmost priority. Currently, the only full-time postgraduate program is: Master of Computer Application (MCA). This two-year program admits students of which the capacity is at 60, thereby achieving a good student-teacher ratio. 

The admission procedure is geared to coincide with the academic year, which usually starts around July and August of the year in India. 1. First, candidates must qualify according to the eligibility criteria for MCA degree admission requiring a Bachelors' degree in an appropriate stream.

2. Students may have to appear for a relevant entrance examination, which could include TANCET or be through NIMCET; however, the institute may have its own basis for selection.

3. After the entrance exam results are available, eligible candidates can fill the application form; the application form is probably available online on the institute's official website or from the admissions office.

Students for admission to the MCA program. "Initially for the MCA Program, candidates are to have completed their Bachelors' degree in an appropriate stream. The Institute does not furnish relevant details regarding the entrance exams; admissions for MCA will include a value from the score in a different entrance exam measuring student capacity for controlling admissions into EE, TN-Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or the like; might have been captured from another Bureau of NITs with procedures for selection through a common entrance method referred to as NIMCET, NIT MCA Common Entrance Test".
