Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College Pollachi offers admissions to a total of 38 courses in full-time and part-time mode. STC Pollachi admissions are offered for B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA and BBA courses. Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College UG admissions are based on merit of the 10+2/Intermediate. 

STC Pollachi  PG admissions are offered for MA, MCom, MSc, MSW, MCA and MBA courses. Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College offers courses both part time and in full time mode. At the doctoral level, STC Pollachi Ph.D admissions are offered in 8 different specialisations. Candidates applying to the courses are required to fulfill STC Pollachi eligibility criteria.

• The  MBA/MCA admission is done on the basis of the TANCET entrance examination, conducted by Anna University. 

• Candidates can fill up the TANCET application form by registering themselves on the official website and uploading the certificate for the counselling process.

• After that verification of documents is done at GCT (Government Collge of Technology)

• Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in TANCET and rank list of the applicants is prepared.

STC Pollachi Admission Process 2026 for PhD Course

• STC Pollachi Ph.D admissions are done as per the regulations of Bharathiar University in two stages - an entrance test, called the Common Eligibility Test (CET), and an interview. 

• The entrance tests are conducted in June/July every year at different centres 

• The candidates having Master's degrees are eligible to appear for CET. 

• The candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SLET / SET / GATE and other equivalent examinations are exempted from CET. 

• Candidates who qualify the entrance examination are called for the Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College interview process. 

• Candidates are shortlisted for interview, based on the scrutiny of the application forms.

• The final selection for STC Pollachi PhD course is done on the basis of the score of the entrance examination, interview and merit of the qualifying examination. 

• Selection of the candidates depends on the availability of vacancies with the research supervisors in the University departments/research centres of the affiliated colleges.
