Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Kottayam Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has library has a collection of more than 10,000 books, E-journals databases (IEEE Asp), more than 60 periodicals, 150 bound volumes of journals, 330 CD-ROMs, students’ project reports, and previous year question papers. The College has a separate collection of books such as Career & Personality Development, Fiction, etc. Library functions such as Acquisition, Circulation, and Cataloging have been automated using integrated software called “LIBSOFT Ver.3.0” with Web OPAC. The documents are organized on shelves using Dewey Decimal Class Number (22nd & 23rd edition).

The College has sports facilities for all students.

The College has well-furnished Computer Labs with modern equipped Computer terminals, LCD Projectors, installed with the latest version of software through the Microsoft Campus Agreement Licensing program. All terminals are networked with HPDL380 based domain & Dell R510 Automation Servers, unique Login ID, and Storage Folders provided to all staff & students for their academic purpose, 18Mbps of Leased line internet connectivity is available in all terminals.

The College has canteen/cafeteria of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology is located inside the campus. The efficiently functioning canteen serves light refreshments to students and staff. It offers quality food at a reasonable price. The canteen is directly under the control of the college administration.

The College has an auditorium has a full-fledged seminar hall located on the ground floor adjacent to the Geology Department Block. Common Seminar Hall has a seating capacity of 150. 

The College has a good networking for the alumni association.

The College has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The College has a branch of Canara Bank with an ATM facility is functioning on the campus with fully computerized facilities. Students can pay the fees in prescribed challan at the bank’s counter on any working day.

The College has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students.

It has a capacious study space for self-study, quality assured mess service with the most modern cooking area, and also the vibes of positive environs. A classy and elegant dining area and cozy and comfortable lounging space indeed add to the interior facilities of the hostel. The hostel makes sure of the safety of the residents with a round-the-clock CCTV surveillance system. The residents are managed by a main lady warden supported by assistant wardens for each floor.

 The placement cell has provided training in various placement-related areas.  Students have participated.

The College has Ethnic clubs organize various vibrant and colorful cultural events. This club provides the students with an opportunity to exchange their cultural competencies and talents in a diverse environment to promote the values and cultural heritage of India, Film Club- Grand café organizes regular screenings of artistic cinema, documentaries, and short films. This forum provides the students an opportunity to watch, discuss, and review films. Moreover, it is a fantastic launch pad for the student aspirants in the field, exposing them to liberal arts and critical thinking, The Quiz Club of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology strives to discover students with aptitude for quizzing and provide them with opportunities to develop their quizzing abilities, Cybernetics is an association of students of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology in Changanassery that was formed with the concept of creating awareness among the people. Cybernetix was inaugurated by Kottayam district chief Sri. Jaidev G. IPS on November 30th, virtually followed by two webinars. Cybernetix is the result of events that haunt the lives of people.
