72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Commerce shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum qualification for admission to the Ph.D. is a post-graduation degree in the subject of Commerce with a minimum of 55%, and clearing PET examination or M. Phil, NET/SLET, and a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Aspiring student/s have to submit a research proposal and appear before an interview panel. During the research, the student has to complete a research course work if not M. Phil, appear before the Research Advisory Committee, publish research papers, and submit a half-yearly report.72+5
