Lady Irwin College has strong academics with experienced staff and a sound curriculum. The curriculum is practical-oriented, particularly in Home Science and Nutrition. The teachers are helpful, and the students receive hands-on training through projects and internships.
College Infra
college has a amazing campus with large classrooms, labs, and a decent library. The building is old but is equipped with all the facilities. There are also student hostels facility available although they may require some renovations but it's also quiteee good
Campus Life
college life at Lady Irwin College is amazing The college conducts cultural events, fests, and academic competitions every year. Students also have opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities such as sports and clubs, which make college life fun.
Placements
Placements are fair for every student. Most students secure placements in schools, research centers, and private enterprises. Some students may have to search for jobs independently because high placement options are not available here , placement cell is also there which somewhere helps students to get more nd more opportunities
Value For Money

I have completed my master's in science with the specific area of human development and childhood studies which specially focused on childs development and education.Quality of the teaching is very good also all the teachers are helpful.
College Infra
As we all know that the college having a beautiful infrastructure providing necessary facilities and a beautiful garden surrounded with lots of plants.A hostel and a well maintained canteen is also available in campus area .
Placements
Our college provides the placement opportunities also intership opportunities for all the students who enrolled here and help them in all the ways.The placement criteria is very easy and everyone is satisfactory about that.

B.Sc Home Science - Batch of 2008-01-01
Academics
I choose this course because, in the home science pass course, you have multiple subjects in it without any one particular subject like history Hons, etc. And when I was in 11th class, I was interested in home science subject so I took this subject in 11th also. The class and faculty are good as in each class, the strength is 20-22 students. All teachers are experienced as they mostly graduated from our college and the teaching method is good as all teachers use a different method to teach their students. The exams were mostly easy and the gap between exam is up to 5 months because there is 2 semester in 1 year.

Lady Irwin college which is situated in capital of India that is known as Delhi have a beautiful infrastructure with all the necessary facilities like sports ground,a canteen which is hygienic and wi fi is also available in campus.
Placements
Placement of this college is very good.In My time generally students don't think about intership and placements we only study to gain knowledge but now a days it's important to have a good job and our college totally provides the opportunities.

can I apply in 6th cutoff in Lady irwin college even if I was elligible in 1st cutoff as there is no note like in other courses given candidates can't apply in 6th cutoff if they were elligible in previous cutoff.

Yes you can apply for the 6th cutoff of lad irwin college (even if you were eligible for the 1st cutoff). The 6th cutoff for lady irwin college was released on 28th of November. The admission against sixth cutoff list wil be from 30th November to 2nd december 2020.
