Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Home Science is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Lady Irwin College, New Delhi and affiliated to University of Delhi, Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to First year B.Sc. Home Science should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (12- year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi / Indian School Certificate (12-year course) or an Examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks, in the aggregate with the following subjects:

English plus 3 papers from Science, Home Science, Commerce or Social Sciences streams.
Fine Art, Music, Dance, Physical Education will not be considered. Vocational streams will not be eligible.
It is essential to have cleared English.

Admission Details

For purposes of preparation of merit list, aggregate of English (Core or Elective) and three subjects taken for eligibility out of the subjects (as mentioned above) would be taken into consideration. II. All admissions will be made strictly in order of merit. Admission will always be made on a provisional basis.

College Infrastructure

Lady Irwin college which is situated in capital of India that is known as Delhi have a beautiful infrastructure with all the necessary facilities like sports ground,a canteen which is hygienic and wi fi is also available in campus.

It was worth getting admission in Delhi University.

College Infrastructure

DU has the best infrastructure. The colleges are well maintained. It provides sanitised labs and equipments and takes care of the proper hygeine. They provide wifi to the faculty and students as well. They have libraries, auditoriums, hostels in good condition, etc.

I had a great time attending the college before the pandemic

College Infrastructure

The overall architecture has a very authentic feel, and it also feels special as it was established long back.. with beautiful buildings to gorgeous lawns and the beautiful picture perfect spots. The places are maintained very nicely as well.
