A Candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (XII^th Standard) Examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the following subjects:

1. SCIENCE STREAM (GENERAL):

• English (Higher or Lower level) carrying 100 marks.
• Any one of the Modern Indian Languages, Modern Foreign Languages, or any Classical Language or Information Technology carrying 100 marks.
• Any four subjects from among the subjects mentioned below, carrying a total of 400 marks: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Statistics, Geography, Economics, Geology, Psychology.
