LDRP Institute of Technology and Research, Gandhinagar, and has a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes available in engineering and technology. The admissions are meant to select the most talented and genuinely deserving candidates through several national and state-level entrance examinations. Admission to the undergraduate programmes is through the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) and Joining Entrance Examination (JEE Main) for the Institute. For the eligible candidates, admission procedures are held through a counselling process conducted by the Admission Committee of Professional Courses (ACPC).

Application Process

Admission to LDRP Institute of Technology and Research basically depends on the program:

For B.E. programs:

1. Qualifying GUJCET and JEE Main
2. Registering for ACPC counseling
3. Filling up the application form on the ACPC portal selecting LDRP Institute of Technology and Research as a preferred college
4. Submission of required documents along with the application fee
5. Participating in the counseling process for seat allocation
6. Reporting to LDRP in the case of allotted seats for verification of documents and confirmation of admission thereafter.

For M.E., MCA, and MBA programs:

1. Qualifying respective entrance exams (like GATE for M.E., state-level MCA entrance exam, or national MBA entrance exams)
2. Register for ACPC counseling (M.E.) or the institute's admission process (for MCA and MBA)

Degree wise Admission Process 

B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering): Branches offered include Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, and Automobile Engineering, etc. Admission is based on the performance in GUJCET and JEE Main followed by counseling by ACPC. Total of 510 seats spread across all B.E. programs with the maximum intake being allotted to Computer Engineering with 180 seats.

M.E. (Master of Engineering): M.E. branches ,e.g. Thermal Engineering, Production Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Electrical Power Systems, Computer Engineering, and Automobile Engineering are being offered. Admission rules according to ACPC are followed. The seat intake to each M.E. program is 18 except for Automobile Engineering for which it is 12.

MCA (Master of Computer Applications): The MCA program by LDRP has an intake of 60 seats. Admission will either be through the state-level entrance exam or through guidelines of ACPC.

MBA (Master in Business Administration): The institute offers an MBA program with 60 seats. Admission will be based on the scores of a national-level MBA entrance exam and further selection processes as per ACPC norms.

Common documents that actually apply to the admission process include:
