M.Optom: Candidates must have either a B.Optom or equivalent degree in Optometry from an accredited institution to be considered for Master of Optometry. Ph.D. Optometry: The Ph.D. program in Optometry is conferred upon those students that obtain the degree upon completion of research. A PhD program may be initiated by presenting a research proposal, which is then followed by an entrance test and interview with the research committee.
