M Krishna Law College, Hassan was established in the year 1974 by Malnad Technical Education Society (MTES). The institute is recognised by University Grants Commission under Under section 2 (f) and 12B of the UGC Act 1956 as well as Bar Council of India and is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi and earlier it was affiliated to University of Mysore. Earlier the college was functioning as one of the sister institutions of Malnad Technical Education Society within the premises of A.V.K. Women’ s College, Hassan, later on in the year 2000 it started functioning in its present campus. M Krishna Law College, Hassan offers three years LL.B degree to the students.
