Madhav Institute of Technology, Baghpat Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Madhav Institute of Technology and is a constituent college of M.J.P. Rohilkhand University Bareilly. The institute, which is also recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), runs two full-duration programs in education. Admission process for Madhav Institute of Technology is formulated to allow deserving candidates to enter either B.Ed or D.El.Ed programs. Madhav Institute of Technology follows a merit admission system and abides by the regulations of State Government/Unit Administration and the University of Rajasthan. Admissions to the University are given on the basis of merit lists prepared by taking into account the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination whichever is applicable as per the policy of the State Government and the University.

In the B.Ed program, the candidate should be someone who holds a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree with a minimum of 50% marks or the candidate should be one who has completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology with at least 55% marks and be qualifying in the field of Mathematics and Science. For the D.El.Ed program, the candidate should have completed plus two, plus three or graduation. Normally, admissions in the institute follow the academic calendar of M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, although some dates may vary from year to year.

Application Process

The admission procedures at Madhav Institute of Technology, Baghpat, are as follows:

1. Advertisement for Admission: The institute advertises the admission process through newspapers and on its website.

2. Application Form: The candidates have to buy and fill out the application form, which may be available online on the website of the institute or in physical form in the institute.

3. Submission of Documents: The candidates have to submit duly filled application forms along with requisite documents:

• Marksheets of qualifying examinations shall be submitted (10+2 for D.El.Ed, Bachelor's/Master's for B.Ed)
• ID proof, as applicable
• Caste certificate, if applicable
• Any other documents as prescribed by the institute and/or in accordance with norms notified by the State Government.

4. Entrance Examination: Candidates will be required to take the entrance examination as per the prevailing policy of the State Government and the University.

5. Merit List Preparation: The merit will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or the score of the entrance examination.

6. Counseling and Seat Allocation: The candidates called for counseling shall be assigned seats based on their merit and availability of seats.

8. Document Verification: The institute shall do a proper verification of all documents produced by a student in support of his claim for admission.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed: Madhav Institute of Technology, Baghpat, runs the Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) with an approved intake of 50 seats. Admission to the B.Ed program is offered on a merit basis that weighs on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Bachelor's or Master's degree) and/or entrance examination performance. The selection will be based on any other criteria as adopted by the State Government and University. Eligibility shall be a Bachelor or Master's degree with 50% marks or a B.E/B.Tech. degree with 55% marks in mathematics and science specializations.

D.El.Ed: The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) also has an approved intake of 50 seats. D.El.Ed admissions are merit-based, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2+3 or graduation) and/or performance in the entrance examination. The selection process is as per the guidelines of the State Government/UT Administration. Applicants need to have completed 10+2+3 or graduation.
