MAEER's MIT College of Railway Engineering and Research, Barshi is an affiliated college established in the year 2017. The campus is situated at Jamgaon, Barshi, Solapur, Maharashtra. It is sanctioned by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Five B.Tech courses are offered at the institute. On a total student strength of 115 students, 51 have been inducted as faculty there.

MITCORER has specialised training in railway engineering and research; the institute stands alone in itself in the area. The college has facilities that help its students both in academics and personal grow. All the programs offered by this institute are four-year full time courses designed to educate students with comprehensive technical education and practical skills of utmost relevance to the railway industry and other industries.

There is a merit-based process for admission through scores from national and state-level entrance exams at MAEER's MIT College of Railway Engineering and Research. The college accepts scores in both the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) Main and Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, MHT CET. Students who plan to join the college must score a non-zero mark in one of the entrance exams.
