The Manjari Devi College & School of Nursing, begun in 2005, is one of the leading health care education in Bhubaneswar Odisha. This is a co-educational institute is an affiliated college recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), providing various nursing courses. The college has direct student enrolment of 322, which makes it a great place for, we would like to become, healthcare professionals. It has 9 programmes with three progressive degrees to cater various discipline of nursing.

Manjari Devi College & School of Nursing also has facility of different sorts or characters that would improve or complement the learning process of students. Girls and boys hostels are well furnished and fully equipped to create a safe and particular atmosphere that favors academic achievement. It is staffed by mature wardens with social and educational backgrounds which also contribute to friendly environment and possibility to read different journals, magazines and health-related literature broadens students’ knowledge. Unfortunately, the college lacks efficient standard laboratories that are deemed essential for learning nursing; however, current amenities of its laboratories include modem facilities of Anatomy and Physiology, Nursing Foundation, Nutrition, Biochemistry, OB&G, Pediatric, Community, and Computer sciences laboratories. The reference books and textbooks that are stocked in a library are so arranged such a way that it can contain a total of 200 students at a time. Besides, it has the transport facilities for the training need for clinics and community practices, recreational facilities, seminar and conference hall and guest house for the visiting faculties and their families.

Manjari Devi College and School of Nursing has developed a number of nursing programme in order to provide for the needs of the students. The institute offers 9 courses for full-time study at certificate, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Courses like ANM- nurses auxiliary midwifery, GNM-General Nursing & midwifery, Bachelors of science in nursing, Post basin Bachelors of Science in nursing and these masters courses are Medical Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing, Child Health & Paediatrics Nursing, Mental Health & psychiatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing etc.
