24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent to any State Nursing Registration Council.
- The minimum education requirement shall be B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by the INC/State Nursing & Midwives Registration Council. 5% relaxation in the case of SC/ST candidates.
- In case a candidate has registered his/her name in another State Nursing Council, he/she has to register under ONMRC and submit his/her reciprocal registration certificate to the Institution within two months from the last date of admission.
- Minimum one year of work experience after a Basic B.Sc. Nursing or one year of work experience before or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
Admission Details
The Candidate will be selected on the basis of a merit list through the Central Counselling.
