Maratha Mandal's Arts and Commerce College, Khanapur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides separate hostel facilities for girls. Women hostel with a capacity of 26 women's accommodation.

The Library is one of the finest that any rural College Campus can hope to have housed on the first floor of the College building. It caters to the needs of the students and staff of this college. The library building has been so designed to get natural sunlight. The large Reading Hall has a high ceiling and large windows that allow illumination and ventilation to take the strain out of long hours of study. A section of the Reading Room caters to newspapers and periodicals.

The Library boasts a large collection of over 13 thousand books in all major disciplines in the Arts and Commerce. The Library remains open from 9-00 a.m. to 4 p.m. on all working days except Saturday when it closes at 2.00 noon. The Library staff is always helping students and staff. Computerization of the Library is underway to further improve its services. A separate wing is established in the library to lend additional books to the students of SC/ST. At the request of the Students, the Library will be kept open even after office hours.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The students will have to undergo a Medical Check-up and blood checkup to be arranged by the College on a date notified later. Karnataka State Open University Mysore Study Centre The degree Colleg provides infrastructure for and manages the study Centre of Karnataka State Open University Mysore. This is an extremely useful arrangement for working people and housewives. The regular students of this college may study simultaneously the diploma courses of K.S.O.U.

The college has introduced computer applications as one compulsory subject for the B.Com. Students and computer Application papers to the Students of B.A.IV Semester. To support this course, Mandal has established Computer Lab. At present, the lab is having ’22 –Computer systems along with necessary printers. The computer lab also contains a Xerox Machine to help the administration and to help the students. An internet facility is available to Staff and Students.

The Gymkhana Hall is spacious enough to have table tennis, arrangements for Carum and Chess, and other indoor games are also available at the Hall.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

A well-organized past student association is functioning effectively for the overall development and welfare of the College. Apart from these facilities, the college has established other cells like SC/ST cell: Teachers cell: and career guidance cell.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
