Marian College of Arts and Science, Thiruvananthapuram, has its own admission procedure well mapped out under the various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The College is affiliated with the University of Kerala and offers courses in a wide array of disciplines. This admission process avails of methods that establish selection candidates in a fair and merit-based manner. As regards all courses offered in Marian College, 50% of the total seats will be filled through the online allotment system of the University of Kerala. This system is merit inclusive and adheres to the principles of reservation by the Government of Kerala. The other 50% will contain seats that the college management will fill, adhering to the guidelines provided by the Government of Kerala and the University of Kerala.

Degree wise Admission Process
The Marian College of Arts and Sciences offers many undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The following is the admission procedure for different degrees:
B.Com Computer Applications: The same admission procedure applies whereby 50% of the seats are fulfilled by the online allotment system of the university, and the rest is provided for by the college management. A candidate for admission should have completed 10+2 in Commerce or connected subjects.
BA English Language and Literature: Admission to this course is based on the qualifying examination by the candidate (10+2) according to the same seat distribution as the other courses.
BBA Logistics: This is a special management program as per the general admission policy of the college. A candidate in his/her 10+2 is eligible for admission from any stream.
M.Com: The candidates who complete the undergraduate degree in Commerce or its related streams are eligible for this postgraduate program. Admission to the program continues to follow the previously mentioned 50-50 model of allotment by the University and management quota.
B.Sc Zoology: The Candidates with Biology in 10+2 are eligible for admission. Admission is through the standard process.
B.Sc Geography: Students with a minimum qualification of 10+2 with relevant subjects can apply for this program. The admission is through the general process of the college.
B.Sc Computer Science: For this technical program, a candidate should complete 10+2 with Mathematics. The admission procedure goes the same way as the other courses.
The teachers there somehow want to finish the portions and they don't even finish it in time.when corona came they completed it in a rush wuth the help of online classes.otherwise i dont feel that they finish the portions properly
Good quality teaching, teachers are well friendly and loving to all students,teaches very detailed and explained every single topic in study subjects,give more attention to the students, Teachers help students in studies
Teachers help out to there maximum and classes and all are there. The syllabus is usually updated with that of kerala university.i am basically am literature student who is learning of how literature developed and how it is developing with diffrent works of famous writers.
