24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE) and offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the Degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) provided:
1. Candidates who have undergone 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern and passed X, XII, and any UG degree examination of UGC-approved universities in subjects offered at Secondary/Higher Secondary level.
2. Candidates who completed UG or PG in the Open University System without 11-year SSLC + PUC or 10+2 are NOT eligible.
3. Candidates without XII or PUC but with Two-Year BPP/Foundation/Diploma + 3-year UG degree are eligible.
4. Candidates with a Double/Triple major must choose one subject only; marks will be averaged.
Admission Details
Admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
