24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Punjabi University, Patiala.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree or any other qualification declared equivalents thereto are eligible for admission to the Programme. Any candidate with 49.9 or fewer marks is not eligible.
- The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/ State government, whichever is applicable. There, shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favor of Sc/ST/ OBC and other categories of candidates. Candidates with 44.9% marks or less are not eligible.
Admission Details
Admission shall be made on the merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/U.T. Administration and the University.
