Matiari D. Ed College is one of the colleges under Nadia, West Bengal, which specializes in D.El.Ed college. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has accredited this college for the upliftment of quality teacher education. 

Matiari D Ed College, Nadia admission is done to select deserving candidates for their two-year course D.El.Ed to produce qualified elementary teachers. Matiari D. Ed College admission process is merit-based, following marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. Matiari D.Ed College caters for a total intake of 109, of whom 50 will exclusively study in the D.El.Ed programme. Application procedure for admission to the D.El.Ed programme at Matiari D.Ed College is as follows:

Matiari D.Ed College conducted D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) programme for  two-year full-time course programme. Its objective is to prepare students for elementary school teaching careers. Admission in the programme is strictly on merit considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. The college has an approved intake of 50 students for this course.
