The initial hours of the students are scheduled in the Knowledge Resource Center (KRC Library) at CJMC which has a huge collection of more than 6000 volumes of books and bound research journals on the various realms of Journalism & Mass Communication. The library has a subscription to over 20 National and 8 International research journals, 30 magazines, and 25 leading newspapers. The library is computerized and fully automated with the facility of an e-library. KRC also offers a newspaper clipping service, reference 8 research sections with access to e-resources for students and faculty members.

The computers have licensed and up-to-date software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In Design, and Corel Draw for the students to improve their pagination skills and layout concepts for a newspaper.
