The B.Com Advanced Accounting and Auditing programme prepares students to navigate the complex new accounting and auditing landscape and identify the best strategies to help an organization track expenditures and income, maintain statutory compliance, and provide quantifiable financial information to investors, management, and the government to help them make better business decisions. Students learn how to evaluate business performance, create budgets and future projections, and file financial statements and tax returns. The curriculum also includes subjects from the Chartered Accountancy Course offered by the ICAI to help students improve their professional skills and increase their employability. Students can find employment in the private and public sectors, public accounting firms, market research, corporations, and consultancies.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed 60% aggregate marks in 3/ 4-year graduation degree in any stream from a UGC-approved university /institution or its equivalent (Minimum 55% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to the Reserved Category from Maharashtra State).
AND
The candidate should have passed 50% aggregate marks in 10 (SSC) and 12 (HSC) examinations, with English as a compulsory subject.
AND
A valid non-zero score in the relevant entrance examination conducted by the competent authority.

Admission Details

Admission will be based on the MIT-WPU CET Entrance Examination and the Personal Interaction (PI) score, conducted by the University as per the prescribed schedule
