24 MonthsThe M.Pharm Pharmacology programme at MIT-WPU provides a comprehensive study of pharmaceutical analytical techniques, advanced pharmacology, pharmacological and toxicological screening methods, cellular and molecular pharmacology, experimental pharmacology, clinical research and pharmacovigilance, drug discovery, research methodology, and biostatistics. Upon completing this programme, students will be well-prepared for a variety of career opportunities in the field of pharmacology, including positions in clinical research organisations, biomedical companies, IT companies specialising in pharmacovigilance, the pharmaceutical industry, private and government R&D laboratories, contract research organisations, and companies involved in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical and biological products.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have passed a B.Pharm. degree examination from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) or hold an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a Government-approved university/institution. (At least 50% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to the Reserved Category from Maharashtra State only.)
Additionally, candidates must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council. Candidates who have not registered at the time of admission must submit a valid State Pharmacy Council Registration Certificate within one month from the date of securing admission.
Admission Details
Admission will be based on the GPAT 2026, 2025, or 2024 score and Personal Interaction (PI) score, conducted by the University according to the prescribed schedule. For admission under sponsored category, candidate must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm, company, industry, educational/research institute, Government Department, or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is sought. A Sponsorship Certificate (in the prescribed format) is mandatory for admission under this category.
