MJRCET Chittoor was established in 2009 and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). MJRCET offers various Diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. MJR College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. MJRCET admissions are based on entrance exams GATE, AP PGECET and APEAMCET. 

MJR College of Engineering and Technology Chittoor offers various streams in Diploma such as Electronic and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. MJRCET B.Tech has various streams including Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
