The minimum qualification for admission into the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt of Andhra Pradesh, or any other examination recognized as equivalent to it with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects. Admissions to the college, along with those of different engineering colleges in the state, are made through a common entrance test (EAPCET) conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh.

Admissions are conducted by the Convener - EAPCET Admissions, through web counseling based on the EAPCET ranks of the candidates.
Admissions for Category – B seats
B- Category seats are filled by the Management of the college following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Vijayawada
