MITM was established in 2008 and is an affiliated college situated in Kantabada, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Being an AICTE approved educational institute, it occupies a dazzling 15 acre of campus in which students can avail a wide array of technical and management disciplines. Otherwise called MITM Bhubaneswar, the institute has 966 total student strength and 109 members on faculty. The institute offers slot: 12 courses across 3 degree levels of engineering, technology and management. Through its quality education policy, MITM strives to produce competent personnel who will effectively suit the market demands.

Established to operate as a coherent community of learning, MITM Bhubaneswar is proud of putting in place a host of relevant facilities for the students’ benefit. Facilities like hostels are provided on the campus but for boys and girls separately in order to provide them a comfortable stay. All the rooms in the hostels are built with basic facilities such as toilet and bath, electricity and water supply, security round the clock. The institute has a rich library facility which disseminates information relating to books, periodicals and other source of information in electronic form. Pursuing the health interest of its students, MITM avails health facility with first aid and a standard gym. The campus also has enhanced physical infrastructural facilities such as IT facilities, sports and practicalisation facility like laboratories for all subjects and specialties.

The institute has many different courses so that students can choose something to suit their academic needs. MITM offer six B.Tech programmes, out of which all are full time programmes, one MBA program and three full time Diploma’s programmes. The overall approved intake on all courses is 780 students per year. Among the B.Tech courses, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering as well as Computer Science and Engineering are preferable by students and the colleges and Intake capacity may vary. The highest intake is observed in MBA with 180 seats to its credit owing to the institutes concentration on management education apart from engineering.
