MITM Bhubaneswar Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Modern Institute of Technology and Management (MITM), Kantabada, is an AICTE recognized institution founded in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This institute offers numerous technical and management programs covering a whole spectrum. The admission procedure is systematic and its aim is to get to the truly deserving candidates across various programs. Most of the time, the admission procedure at MITM runs alongside the university academic calendar to which it is affiliated. Determining the eligibility for admission into most programs relates to the scores acquired in different national or state-level entrance examinations. As a result, the institute accepts two national examinations for acceptance: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).

The ranks obtained by candidates for B.Tech courses should have been based on JEE Main or OJEE. Application Process

Usually, the admission procedure for different programs at MITM includes the following:

1. Qualify for the entrance examination (either JEE Main or OJEE).

2. Open the official MITM website and go to the admission/application section. 

3. Fill out the online application form, providing necessary and correct personal and academic information therein.

4. Thereafter, upload requisite documents, which usually consist of:

• Passport-size photograph
• 10th and 12th mark sheets
• Score card from the entrance exam (JEE Main or OJEE)
• Category certificate (if applicable)

5. Pay the application fee, as provided in the website.

6. After that, submit a fully filled application.

7. Wait for the announcement of the merit list or counseling schedule.

8. Proceed to counseling, if shortlisted, in order to acquire the seat.

9. Conduct admission operation including document verification and payment of fees at the institute.

Admission Process in Degree Wise

B.Tech: There are different B.Tech programs in MITM such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Admission to these programs will be given on the basis of ranks secured in JEE Main or OJEE. The different capacities of the institute branch from 60 to 120 seats.

MBA: The program is authorized to admit 180. Candidates are selected based on OJEE. Accordingly, one must secure a place in the rank of OJEE for eligibility to seek admission.

Diploma Programs: MITM provides diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mining Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. Afterward, admission will be given based on the rank in OJEE. Most of the diploma programs have an approved intake capacity of 60 seats, while Mechanical Engineering has 120 seats allocated.
