Moamed Sathak College of Arts & Science for Women is one of the leading institutions situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, which was started in 1991. It is an NAAC-accredited affiliated college approved by AICTE and is offering 45 programmes in 12 degrees. The college occupies a campus of 10 acres and is home to 5,310 students and a teaching staff of 20. It strives to provide extensive academic services that encompass broad ranges of specialisations in arts, science, commerce, etc.
The college has modern facilities to complement learning in order to facilitate achievement of the institution’s vision. The Microbiology Department has state-of-the-art laboratories for Immunotechnology, Plant And Animal Tissue Culture, Bioprocess Technology, Molecular Biology/Genetic Engineering, Microbiology, And Bioinformatics. The college has a digital library that the faculty and students can use to expand their horizons. Near the college's main building is a 600-person auditorium WITH THE LCD Projector and elaborate audio setups make seminars and symposia efficient.
