    Moamed Sathak College of Arts & Science for Women is one of the leading institutions situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, which was started in 1991. It is an NAAC-accredited affiliated college approved by AICTE and is offering 45 programmes in 12 degrees. The college occupies a campus of 10 acres and is home to 5,310 students and a teaching staff of 20. It strives to provide extensive academic services that encompass broad ranges of specialisations in arts, science, commerce, etc. 

    The college has modern facilities to complement learning in order to facilitate achievement of the institution’s vision. This centre has a large main library which has stocked more than 25000 books and journals and many other information resources. The campus consists of boys' and girls' hostels; the boys' hostel has a capacity of 450 students, which comprises a shuttle badminton court and a gym. PRIE: The off-campus girls’ hostel suppliers provide free transport facilities to and from the college. Some other provisions are a 600-sitting-capacity programme hall with adequate audiovisual aids, well-equipped laboratories, a reconstructed and hygienically maintained canteen serving a balanced diet prepared by professional dieticians, and a medical check-up centre. The college also has well-equipped IT infrastructure, Wi-Fi facilities and sports equipment necessary for an effective college and all-round development of students.

    The Microbiology Department has state-of-the-art laboratories for Immunotechnology, Plant And Animal Tissue Culture, Bioprocess Technology, Molecular Biology/Genetic Engineering, Microbiology, And Bioinformatics. The college has a digital library that the faculty and students can use to expand their horizons. Near the college's main building is a 600-person auditorium WITH THE LCD Projector and elaborate audio setups make seminars and symposia efficient.
