24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course offered by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have obtained at least 50% marks for open category students and 45% marks for backward category students in the graduation examination of a recognized university, B.Ed. Candidates from all cadres from universities outside Maharashtra will be eligible for admission and will need to secure 50% marks.
- In the CET open category, other backward class and special backward category minimum 18 marks out of 50, backward category a minimumof 15 marks, and candidates from all categories of universities outside Maharashtra minimum 18 marks to be rejected for admission.
- A candidate who is in service as a teacher and has completed at least two years of full-time service in a regular B.Ed. You can get admission to the course. But the condition of a minimum hundred marks will not apply to them. However, the category-wise CET marks condition will be applicable. Also, Hon. of the concerned district. A certificate of being a recognized teacher by the Education Officer will be required.
Admission Details
The admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
