Mrs Helena Kaushik Women's PG College, Jhunjhunu Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has an excellent and well-equipped library. It was named after and inaugurated by the Honorable Former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister. The L.K. Advani Library contains a wide range of books in all subjects in arts and sciences, commerce and management, periodicals, and journals to fulfill the academic needs and curricular interests of the students and the faculty. There is a large collection of more than 40,000 books donated by many individuals, families, bookstores, libraries, professors, students, and staff in the United States. Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts has done book drives in 2003 and 2004 sending nearly 3,000 from its collection and over 500 from Bentley College, also in Massachusetts. A special section of the library is dedicated to the memory of Leo Soricelli, Jr. whose personal collection of literature was donated by his parents in Peekskill, New York, and his cousin Joseph Morreale. Several professors at Pace University in New York and many other New Yorkers have donated from their personal collections. The Honorable L.K. Advani Ji also donated over 100 books from his personal collection to our library following his visit to the college to address a Special Convocation in his honor and all our graduates from 2002 to 2006 on November 17, 2007. There is a video section in the library where students are shown a documentary of academic value. There is also a photostat facility in the library. Students and staff are able to get important extracts copied from books without any trouble at some fixed charges. The process of converting the library into a fully electronic library is underway to access books and other reference documents. The library has high-speed access to the Internet.

Faculty and students are expected to make full use of the computer lab to learn about computers and to do their homework and research. The Computer Lab is fully connected with LAN and Internet facilities in all the computers to facilitate the research and latest information about the globe. All computers in the lab are connected to the Internet. Computer use is taught to all students, faculty, and staff by a qualified computer technician and instructor.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college provides full laboratory facilities in other subjects that have practical components in the syllabus, such as Geography, Home Science, Music, and Psychology among a large number of optional subjects offered at the college. Other labs will be created as the offerings of subjects and the needs of our students and faculty grow. Students are encouraged to use these facilities and seek regular guidance and supervision from their professors. 

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a Parking facility for students and staff.

Bus transportation is made available to students traveling from Malsisar & neighboring areas on economic fares

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
