    College Infrastructure

Yes our college has the necessary infrastructure and the required equipment such as boards and everything Every class is provided with a basic black board and a small white board which is maintained pretty well There is a well Maintained canteen and food Is served in a hygienic manner There is a well designed living and moving space in and around the college with a good deal of security The sports part of the college is well Maintained with a good areas for practicing football and and basketbal

    Academics

I am a 1st year BA LLB student aspiring to be an advocate someday. The quality of teaching in my respective college is pretty good there are a few subjects which are easier to grasp and hence I have a beret understanding of them yet I must say a few teachers do teach it in the best way possible As a curriculum we are quite well versed with the contemporary and dynamic times keeping up with the current affairs

    Placements

As per the placement part of it our college has provided us with a club that helps us with our placements but as of now this hasn’t really been of a great use owing to the Covid situation but regardless the club provides us with the rubrics of a placement and teaches us and explains the pros and cons of it which is of immense help

    Value for Money

As a 5 year course it costed me around one and a half lakh per year which sums up to 2 semesters I personally feel it’s quite a good deal considering the amount of studying and the factor of 2 degrees

    Campus Life

Frankly speaking I haven’t experienced the very college life so far it’s been on a virtual platform but still I would like to say it’s been quite a great experience and I’m grateful for finding amazing people in just barely half a year of knowing them this would so far be the best part of it and other than that the teachers Are very understanding and don’t hesitate to have to repeat any part or anything and the support staff is one of the most hardworking they work tirelessly

    Others

As a College Ramaiah is a good choice it’s been set up In and around a suitable place and the necessary precautions are maintained so if your looking to a law course Ramaiah is quite a good option

    Life in Ramaiah

    College Infrastructure

Ramaiah College of law now has their own building earlier it was on rent, but there also most of the facilities where provided like the moot court hall, classes, library, computer lab and staff room with clean and hygienic washrooms. Since the new building has been made there will be much bigger library and more classrooms and activity rooms like NCC, Moot court hall, Eco club and etc.

    Academics

The faculty is experienced and highly qualified, they are approachable and help in anyway possible. For BA subjects theydon't have all permanent faculties but for law subjects we have permanent and good faculty members.

    Placements

The placement cell needs to be improved and worked upon, we don't have a defined placement officer also not much companies with big packages come to the college because of the lack of proper placement cell. Though the college manges to get companies with 3-4Lp.a packages for students.

    Value for Money

Fees per year for my course is 1.5L, it's a fine amount that I have to pay taking into consideration that it is private law college. The fees is okay comparing to the opportunities you get in the college for various sports as well as moot court competitions.

    Campus Life

Ramaiah College of law is in the same campus as the Ramaiah University so you get an advantage their as you get a bigger campus with 2-3 canteens and outside sitting spaces. The campus life in Ramaiah is fine, there are supportive teachers and seniors help you too.

    Others

Overall it's a good experience in the college. Life in Ramaiah is very memorable and special. All factors are in favour for development of students and helping them to reach great heights in their life.

MS Ramaiah, a substitute to NLS in Bengaluru

    College Infrastructure

Due to the pandemic we haven't had as many classes physically as I hoped we would, nevertheless from my experience the college has an amazing infrastructure. There is a newly constructed building with a new library. The library is sufficiently large and there is free access to online databases too. 2 levels of underground parking mean parking is never an issue. In the law college we have an adequate canteen but apart from that there's an amazing cafeteria at msrit too.

    Academics

I'm studying BA LLB and am in the 2nd sem, I've have only 2 law subjects and the rest are arts. To my knowledge teaching is of a satisfactory level out of the 10 teachers I've had 8 have been 4/5 with 2 being 2/5. The quality of English is decent and most teachers are approachable and punctual. Also before exams the teachers explain everything pretty decently. Although it isn't at NLS level the teaching here is better than most similar colleges

    Placements

I don't think I'm overly qualified to talk about placements since I'm just in 2nd sem. Although, from the very start of college we've had talks from the placement cell on the types of jobs and how to achieve them. We also have had lots of help with how to secure internships, which internships to take and stuff like that. We also have been told to enroll in certain extracurriculars to boost our CV

    Value for Money

For my BA.LLB course the fee was 1.5L per year. This fee to my knowledge is lesser than Christ and NLUs which are the 2 better colleges and similarly priced to other colleges of law in Bengaluru. Considering the infrastructure that Ramaiah has and they number of talks and events we have I feel value for money is really great.

    Campus Life

Campus Life again for me was mostly online but the students or my classmates are really diverse. Apart from that it was pretty easy to make friends as I'm the part of the debate club too. Similarly there is the moot club, constitution club etc where people can interact. Coming to teachers most are friendly and approachable outside the classroom and none seem like they wouldn't talk to students.

    Others

College has treated me pretty decently until now. Obviously originally I'd love to have gone to an nlu. But as time passed I've come to realise that although Ramaiah may lack in areas of library size and slight quality of teaching it's a pretty amazing place to be. We too have teams winning national and international competitions. Our campus is huge. Building infrastructure is really good too. The staff is friendly and approachable and management is constantly trying out things to enhance life
