Nagaland University Kohima is a Central University which was established in the state of Nagaland by an Act of Parliament by the Government of India in 1989. For nearly a decade and half Nagaland University had been functioning from Kohima as the interim Headquarters of the University. Nagaland University has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Nagaland University Kohima offers programmes at postgraduate and doctoral levels such as M.Ed, M.Sc, MCom, MA, PGD, M.Phil, PhD and many others. Admissions to UG courses will be offered to candidates who have passed class 12th from a recognised board, whereas for PG courses bachelor’s degree is a minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the Nagaland University Kohima eligibility criteria before applying to these courses.
