Nalanda College, Biharsharif Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has separate hostel facilities provided for Girls on the college campus. It has adequate high security and good discipline. The students who are not staying with their parents shall reside in the college hostel as per college rules.

The college has a central library that has, at present, around 24000 + books and 800 + journals, along with INFLIBNET access to online information. It has ably supported students, teachers, and research scholars in pursuit of higher learning. Research scholars of other colleges and institutions in the Nalanda district have also benefited from our library. The automation of the library is in progress. The library is equipped with 20 computers, and the students/faculty can access information online.

The college has a well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and BioTech Lab. The Lab has the latest equipment and apparatus available for the students.

The college has state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with the latest instruments, computers, servers, and the most modern software required to instruct the students and carry out prescribed practicals to complement classroom learning. Students have access to this excellent facility, complemented by 24-hour internet connectivity. It provides efficient and effective support to students in their pursuit of academic excellence.

The College  Auditorium/Multipurpose Hall has a seating capacity of around 500 and is used regularly for various activities, Cultural Programs, Meetings, etc.  

The college has a well-furnished and hygienic canteen where healthy and nutritious food is available to the students.

The college has separate parking spaces for motorcycles and vehicles, properly covered by CCTV surveillance and security guards.

The college has a large Playground inside the campus which is sufficient for outdoor games. Various sports events like cricket matches, football matches, etc., are organized from time to time.

The college has the Central Bank of India with a wide network of branches all over the country and overseas and which is part of the Government of India, offers a wide range of services to students and faculty on the campus including electronic transfer of remittances, payment of fees and other banking transactions. The college has a Post Office on its campus that is very helpful to our students. They need not go elsewhere for their post-office-related job and save time.

The College Campus is completely covered with Wi-Fi. There are approximately. 20 Wi-Fi hotspots to provide better connectivity. Students are encouraged to use Wi-Fi for learning purposes.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a Post Office on its campus that is very helpful to our students. They need not go elsewhere for their post-office-related jobs and save time.
