72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Dance shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
Dance Styles: Bharata Natyam / Mohini Attam / Kathak
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidate should pass:
i) NET/PET
ii) Master of Performing Arts (Dance) of the University of Mumbai or any equivalent degree from any statutory university.
iii) Graduation in other disciplines from a statutory university and a recognized diploma in the relevant dance style. The student must possess a high level of proficiency and must clear a qualifying test to be administered by the college.
