Nitte Rukmini Adyanthaya Memorial Polytechnic (NRAMP), the affiliated college was established in the year 2001,situated at Nitte Village of Udupi district in Karnataka state. This institution which is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education offer diploma programmes in the various engineering disciplines. With a total area of 7.73 acres, NRAMP: The Nazareth Regional Amanda Powell, Ph.D., has a total student enrolment capacity of 779 and faculty strength of 36. The polytechnic offer six full time diploma courses in the areas of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering.
They offer the students with the needed learning environment with the following recent institute facilities. The NRAMP library is also fully equipped to provide students with all kinds of educational material they might need. For those who incline sports and gym, the college also has sports equipment, and gymnasium. It also has modern Laboratories for different departments of the campus with laboratories helps student to get direct experience and exposure. An auditorium entails that different activities and seminars are held in the particular structure. The institute also provides several student facilities that include canteen services, transport services with a health facility which has a first aid section. For out station students, NRAMP also provides different hostels for both boys and girls.
Currently, NRAMP has endorsed six full-length diploma courses and all of them are in regular mode. That’s the approved intake that has been set across all courses offered, which is at 310 seats. Both the diploma offerings extend over three years each, and focus on fundamental engineering fields. They include; Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer science and Engineering and Fashion and Apparel Design. Every course is delivered to ensure that students attain the necessary prerequisite skills for the availability of future jobs or advancement to higher-level courses.

The admission system for NRAMP complies with the education systems in Karnataka state. Generally, the prescribed date for the submission of the application for the diploma courses is in the local Kannada daily newspapers after the declaration of Karnataka State SSLC (10th standard) result. For some general courses including Apparel Design and Fabrication Technology popularly known as Fashion Technology, the date is approximately June 15th. Candidates short-listed for an interview are expected to pay the prescribed fees on the day of interview as indicated in the interview letter. Nitte Rukmini Adyanthaya Memorial Polytechnic (NRAMP), Nitte, is a reputed institution providing various engineering diploma courses. The admission process in NRAMP is formulated for selecting deserving students based on their Karnataka State SSLC (10th) examination performance in the entry test. Wait for Karnataka State SSLC results declaration.
Read the announcement of application submission dates, which appears in local Kannada daily newspapers.
Get and fill in the application form for a desired diploma program.
Submit the application form before the last date.
For Fashion and Apparel Design program, confirm that the submission will be done before June 15 (tentatively).
Wait for interview shortlist announcement.
If shortlisted, visit on date assigned.
Carry all necessary documents and the prescribed fees amount to the interview.
If selected, pay the required fees immediately after the interview. The amounts shall be stated in the interview letter.
Degree-wise Admission Process
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Intake: 50 seats
Admission is by Karnataka State SSLC performance. Applications are available after announcement of results, and deadlines are published in Kannada daily newspapers.
Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering
Intake: 60 seats
The admission procedure for this course is the same as for Mechanical Engineering. Candidates selected on the basis of SSLC results are also called for an interview.
Diploma in Civil Engineering
Intake: 45 seats
Admission for the diploma is similar to those in other diploma programs, as they are accepted after the announcement of results. Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview, and in case of selection, they will have to pay the fees immediately.
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Intake: 50 seats
Admission procedure aligns with other diploma courses, with selections based on results from the SSLC examinations.
Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering
Intake: 60 seats
All these programs follow a normal admission process on the performance basis of the SSLC examination and those chosen must undergo interviews before paying predetermined fees after selection.
Diploma in Fashion and Apparel Design
Intake: 45 seats
