North Bank College, Lakhimpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The library facility with sufficient numbers of books, News Papers, Journals, an Internet Facility, etc. and well equipped spacious reading room is available to students of the college. The student may borrow books from the library on the production of a library card for some time 15 days only. After fifteen days, students may borrow another book or renew the same. Borrowers are personally responsible for the loss or damage of any book borrowed.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The canteen of the college is situated near the main gate of the college campus. It can take 23 people at a time to have food. The canteen provides items like snacks, tea, biscuits, cake, sweets of different kinds, roti, paratha, and rice as well. However, on special occasions, it also facilitated foods based on the demands of the teachers, such as meals for lunch with meats, fish, paneer, etc. The canteen has maintained a healthy and hygienic environment for the service of the students, teachers, college staff, and outsiders as well. The basic infrastructure that is required for the comfort of the people such as washbasins, running water, electricity, fans, desk, bench, chairs and tables, a separate kitchen, etc. are available in the college canteen. The owner of the canteen provides all kinds of food items at the most reasonable prices.

The college has a total of three hostels-one for boys. All the hostels of the college are situated within the college premises. All the hostels are situated in a short distance from the classrooms of the college. The boy’s hostel has two beds, two tables, and two chairs in each room. In each room, an average of 3 people can stay at a time. All the rooms in the hostel are comfortable and spacious.

The college has a total of three hostels -two for girls. All the hostels of the college are situated within the college premises. All the hostels are situated in a short distance from the classrooms of the college. The Girl’s hostel has two beds, two tables, and two chairs in each room. In each room, an average of 3 people can stay at a time. All the rooms in the hostel are comfortable and spacious.

The college also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities.
