Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing is established in the town of Dharwad, Karnataka, and has been preparing perfectionist healthcare professionals since its inception in the year 2001. This autonomous institute affiliated to RGU and approved by INC is dedicated to nursing education. Measuring an unbelievable 5 acres for the school and housing 78 enrolled, the institution provides a coherent learning experience. The faculty of the institute consists of seven members, all of whom are dedicated and provide quality education and individual focus in their nursing course.

With this, the school boasts of a set of most useful establishments that complement our students’ learning process. As a virtual library, it presents both professional books, national and international journals, dailies, and magazines in English and regional languages. In terms of practical assessment, it has Fundamentals of Nursing (FON) lab, Community Health Nursing (CHN) lab, Audiovisual lab, Nutrition lab, Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBG) lab, Pediatrics lab, and Computer labs. These facilities give students exposure, which is essential in their working careers. Lourdes School of Nursing has only one flagship programme at the present: the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course. This course is a four-year full course in nursing and midwifery training. It has an approved capacity to admit thirty students in this programme to allow a more personalised learning environment. The cost of the course is about INR 73,000, which enables an institution to offer quality education to nurture the spirits of those wishing to become nurses.
