Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing, Dharwad is an autonomous institute, accredited under the RGU and the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The institute is dedicated to quality nursing education with an emphasis on merit for admissions. The admission process in the Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing has been designed to select those desirous of pursuing Nursing and those who may actually make it in this discipline: General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). The institute mainly conducts this 4-year full nursing and midwifery training program.

Thus, maximum teacher-student interaction encourages a more focused and personalized learning experience. The other admission criteria would be strictly based on merit, based on academic performance in previous qualifications. Total fees for the program are approximately Rs. 73,000.
