Pacific Dental College and Research Center (PDCRC) which was set up in the year 2015 is one of the premier dental college located at Udaipur Rajasthan. This constituent college is recognised by the Dental Council of India ( DCI) and comprises programmes in dentistry in its vast campus of 32 acres. PDCRC has a faculty of 73 members and deliver quality education to the students who wants to be part of the dental professionals. The institute provides 8 programmes at 2 degree levels with focus on dentistry. PDCRC offers many facilities in order to create the appropriate conditions for learning for its students. PDCRC has 8 dental courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The largest component of the institute’s academic portfolio is the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course of 100 seats. For the postgraduate students, the college offers Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degrees in the following specialties: Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Conservative Dentistry, Periodontics, Pedodontics and Oral Medicine. These full time courses are intended to train proficient dentist to meet the active demands in the dental profession.
The major criterion of admission to the PDCRC is based on the national entrance examination. For the BDS programme, the candidate needs to pass the NEET UG exam for their eligibility to admission. In Like manner for MDS programmes, the admissions are offered through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS (NEET MDS). Degree wise Admission Process
BDS: PDCRC BDS course has aggregate intake capacity of 100 seats. The entry is merit-wise based on candidate's NEET UG. The requirement is passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subject. The preference is on basis of merit list prepared based on NEET UG scores following rules of reservation as per the government regulations.
MDS: PDCRC offers MDS courses in different specializations such as Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Conservative Dentistry, Periodontics, Pedodontics, and Oral Medicine. The specializations have a limited number of seats (2-3 per specialty). NEET MDS scores are utilized for admission there. The candidates must be BDS degree holders from a recognized university to apply for MDS courses
