PDCRC Udaipur Admission Process

Pacific Dental College and Research Center (PDCRC), Udaipur, is amongst the top-most dental colleges cleared by the Dental Council of India (DCI). The college provides comprehensive dental education courses at postgraduate as well as undergraduate levels. Admission procedure of PDCRC revolves around selecting most deserving students as per national-level entrance exams.

The primary method of entry into PDCRC is by performance in national entrance examinations. For BDS course, candidates must clear the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG). Similarly, for MDS courses, admissions are done based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS (NEET MDS).

Application Process

The application process of Pacific Dental College and Research Center varies in case of BDS and MDS courses:

For BDS Program:

1. Appear for the NEET UG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
2. Clear the NEET UG with scores greater than the cut-off scores.
3. Apply for the state-level or all-India counseling process, if necessary.
4. Choose PDCRC as one of the list of colleges during counseling.
5. On allotment of seat, report to PDCRC for document verification and admission procedure.

For MDS Courses:

1. Take NEET MDS exam.
2. Qualify in NEET MDS with the required score.
3. Apply for counseling according to the instructions provided by the concerned authority.
4. Select PDCRC and desired MDS specialization during counseling.
5. On allotment, undergo the admission process at PDCRC, i.e., document verification and fee payment.

Degree wise Admission Process

BDS: PDCRC BDS course has aggregate intake capacity of 100 seats. The entry is merit-wise based on candidate's NEET UG. The requirement is passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subject. The preference is on basis of merit list prepared based on NEET UG scores following rules of reservation as per the government regulations.

MDS: PDCRC offers MDS courses in different specializations such as Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Conservative Dentistry, Periodontics, Pedodontics, and Oral Medicine. The specializations have a limited number of seats (2-3 per specialty). NEET MDS scores are utilized for admission there. The candidates must be BDS degree holders from a recognized university to apply for MDS courses

Admission documents normally are:

  • NEET UG/MDS score card
  • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates
  • Mark sheets and degree certificate in BDS (for MDS applicants)
  • Valid ID proof
  • Caste certificate (if required)
  • Migration certificate
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Recent passport-size photographs
