Ranking Methodology: The colleges are ranked as per the cumulative score that they have received. The college that has got the maximum cumulative score will be ranked first while the college that has got least cumulative score will be ranked last.
The hostel has accommodation for 60 students. There are 15 well-furnished rooms having a seating capacity of 4 boarders in each. Students should apply at the beginning of every academic session (July-August) for hostel accommodation. The list of selected students is prepared on a merit basis and published on the college website.
The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The College has two Girls’ Hostels. The Girls’ hostels have a total of 78 seats(50+28). Borders are under the preview of the Hostel Supervision Committee, where the Hostel Superintendent is the coordinator. the Hostels have the following facilities -(i) an annual publication (magazine)(ii) newspapers—Assamese and English(iii) a library(iv) a gymnasium hall and(v) a playground in front of the hostel. The college has a Gym facility for the students. Teachers and students of the college may avail Multi-Gym facility. Outsiders can also avail of this facility on payment of a nominal fee.
The College Library is one of the best college libraries in Assam in providing efficient service to the readers. It is a place of attraction for the students. The library has been aiming to supplement the knowledge of the students, which they acquire from their teachers. Presently the library is under the control of full-fledged library staff. The library is in the main building. It is well stocked with more than 32,600 texts and reference books, more than a dozen local and national newspapers, journals, and other information sources like maps, globes, floppy discs, CD.ROMs etc. The library has a reading room for students and space is kept exclusively to teachers. The College follows an open Access System reducing the barriers between the books and readers. Students are allowed to go to the stacks of books and have direct access to the best thoughts of the world preserved for centuries in books. The library remains open from 09.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m. the library is expanding its access to electronic and digital resources. Pandu College offers BEST READERS AWARD to the student who makes the best use of the library to increase the reading habit among the students.
The college has sports facilities for all students. There are separate common rooms for boys and girls with adequate facilities for indoor games.
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The College has a separate computer lab for teaching computer education for every student.
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. The college canteen remains open during class hours. It is under the supervision of the Canteen Committee that selects a manager on a contractual basis. Ex-students are given preferences in this regard.
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. The college auditorium is on the first floor of the library building with a permanent stage. It can accommodate nearly1000 people. The foundation stone of the proposed indoor stadium-cum auditorium has already been laid.
