Patna Women's College has a placement and career counselling cell that is responsible for conducting a placement drive for the students. The cell works as a bridge between the companies and the students of PWC. It also helps in the overall personality development of the students. The college has an adequate infrastructure to conduct the recruitment drive. The placement cell of PWC also ensures that the maximum number of students got placed in a reputed company. It also trains the students for the placement drive by organising guest lectures, workshops and events for them.

The placement procedure is done in various steps:

•  PWC sends an invitation to the companies via mail and interested companies will revert back to that mail with the dates on which they want to conduct a placement drive.
• On the mutual agreement, dates will get finalised and companies will visit the campus to deliver the pre-placement talk to the students.
• The company shortlists the students and also makes a waiting list of students for the recruitment process.
• Placement Cell assigns dates for the recruitment process on the basis of students' preference and job profile.
• Companies visit the campus and conduct tests/interviews/group discussions etc as per their recruitment process.
• Once the student is selected, Placement Cell also coordinates the signing on offer letter by the selected student.
